Once we have purchased the land. The project will be implemented in a series of evaluated and data driven phases. The implementation of each phase will be determined by the positive assessment of the previous phase and availability of funding. Read the project proposal sandbox (work in progress)
The following is an overview of our current implementation plan:

The following is an overview of our current implementation plan:
Year 1
Phase 1
- Conduct a Small Feasibility Study in the areas surrounding the land grant, soil assessment and local resource assessment. The findings that will be included in the feasibility study will determine the types of farming we will offer and the progress of the project.
- Purchase the land and design the farm layout
- Dig at least 2 wells if needed
- Begin building the staff residence
- Begin planting vegetable crops, building chicken coops and goat pens.
Phase 2
- Develop a timeline, curriculum and training program for school teachers and staff
- Map and develop the farm and educational areas
- Begin building Outdoor Classrooms, outdoor common spaces and dwelling for farm helpers and personnel
- Create a large farm compost structure to include organic refuse as the farm is being developed
- Develop Farm School business model
- Evaluate the curriculum and assess whether the academic curriculum leads the farm design.
- Develop monitoring and evaluation tools
- Train teachers, staff, paid helpers and volunteers
- Evaluate training program and make needed adjustments
- Establish a train- the -trainer program
Phase 3
- Begin conducting lessons in developed curricular areas only
- Evaluate and assess viability of academic lessons and provide needed adjustments
- Establish the viability of starting a pilot program
Phase 4
- Develop the Class 2 program
- Begin Pilot education/farm program.
- pilot animal pasture,
- food crop production,
- animal processing system
- evaluate and assess program and provide needed adjustments
Year 2
- Begin building indoor classroom, office spaces and residences.
- Introduce partial program to Class 1-2
- Create storage, processing, packaging, distribution and marketing channels for produce and animal harvests
- Evaluate and assess program and provide needed adjustments
- Begin sales of preliminary crops
Year 3
- Conduct a full program for Class 1-2
- Introduce a program for Class 3-4
